Stonex S900 WebUI overview

To access the Stonex S900 WebUI, first power on your receiver. Once powered on, find your device serial number under the available WiFi networks and connect. Note that the serial number is placed at the bottom of your receiver.

Once Connected, go to your preferred internet browser and insert the IP address: http://192.168.10.1

You will then have the following pop-up window:

Insert the credentials:

Username: admin

Password: password

Now, you are on the S900 WebUI main page. Here, you will be able to view all the information about your Stonex receiver.

  1.  Under Status’, there are four tabs, which provide you with info about the current status of your receiver, including the coordinate of the current position, the datalink parameters defined,  the satellites being tracked and information about the firmware version, GNSS board info, UHF info, etc. As an example, please see below the information included under 'Position'.

II. Under Settings’, there are six tabs, Working Mode, Satellite Settings, Device Configuration, NMEA messages, View Logs, and Configuration Sets.

Working Mode will allow you to configure the operation of your receiver working as a base, rover or just collect static data. Based on the system mode and the datalink, you have to define the associated parameters, as shown in the image below as an example of a base configuration setup.

Under Working Mode, based on the example of having an S900 operating as a base, you can select to automatically start your base and start recording raw data on the receiver’s head as soon as the receiver is on.

*Note: under Antenna Measurement, you have different modes measuring the receiver’s height.

III. Under ‘Download’, you can click on the Raw Data tab which will allow you to view all static data sessions that have been recorded into your receiver’s head and download the desired one. Your static data is stored as a binary .dat file. This file can be downloaded directly, converted to Rinex format, deleted or edited, as you can see below.

                          i.  By clicking Edit, you can change and correct the Antenna Measurement and the Antenna Height before downloading the static data, in case wrong selection and value were set correspondingly.

ii. By selecting Convert, you can convert your .dat file to a variety of file formats, including Rinex, Leica format, and Stonex format.

In order to post-process your static data using the NRCan-PPP service:

                                            -  convert to the latest Rinex version 3.02,

                                                     -  check the download box,

                                                     -   uncheck the Antenna Phase Center, if you do not want to account for it, and

                                                    -   hit convert to download the .zip file directly.

                     Once successfully completed

you will have the .zip file including the Rinex files under your computer’s Downloads.
