Geode sub meter receiver - iOS devices compatibility

Geode sub meter receiver - iOS devices compatibility

The Geode GNS2 retains all the features of the original Geode with the addition of iPhone and iPad compatibility. The original Geode does not work with iPhone or iPad. The Geode is an all-in-one sub-meter receiver that provides users with real-time, precision GNSS data.  The Geode features one-button simplicity and can be used with any of Juniper Systems’ handhelds, as well as a wide range of Windows, Windows Mobile, Android and now iPhone and iPad devices.  This open operating system is particularly useful for bring-your-own-device workplaces. Accessories for the Geode are compatible with the original Geode and Geode GNS2. Model information can be found on the label located on the underside of each Geode. All Geode GNS2 models are indicated with "GNS2" to the right of the Geode logo, as seen in the image below.

The release of the Geode GNS2 also brings the Geode Connect app to the App Store.  This release of the Geode’s companion app for iPhone and iPad includes a new battery monitoring function that allows the user to see the battery status of the Geode while in the field.  This also lets the user see the Geode’s charging status while the device is plugged in.
